Just the 8 of us

Today was quite an adventure. Three moms, three toddlers and two babies drove off in a mini-van (no, not entirely legally seatbelted...) at 11 am with the intent of going to the Aquarium. I'll spare the nasty details, but we got a late start because Clay took off his poopy diaper in our living room 5 minutes before we were supposed to leave and poop was all over him, the carpet, and the furniture. That boy needs to be potty trained, and quick! The aquarium was a no go because the lines were huge and parking non-existent (duh, spring break), so we headed to the park.

After a quick play (it was freezing!), we camped out at a gelato shop and had lunch and gelato. We then headed back to the bunny patch and the beach, and had a wonderful time admiring our kids, chatting, and enjoying the beauty of Vancouver. Catherine and Megan are amazing friends, and I absolutely LOVE spending time with them. These girls are so loving and supportive, we could talk for hours even if we just saw each other yesterday, and they live just a couple minutes away. I am glad Clay, Cora, and Charlotte will be in preschool together in September.

So despite the crowds, wind, poopy blow-outs, spit up, and tears, we had a glorious day!
