Bike ride to the beach

I was proud of Clay for riding his bike from our house all the way to the beach last week. Those who have visited us know this is quite a distance, though mostly downhill. He picked up some serious speed on some of the forest trails, but didn't seem fazed by a few crashes into the bushes. We made a couple stops to admire spring flowers and to turn over some forest logs in search of creepy crawlies. And Clay and I never tire of crab searches at the beach. I love outings with my boy!
