Christmas

We were home in Seattle for Christmas and enjoyed the first white Christmas in 10 years. I am actually thrilled that the snow is finally melting, as we are all going stir crazy and are tired of being housebound. I am realizing how strongly the lack of exercise affects my mood, and Clay was definitely more wild.

We spent Christmas Eve at Justin's brother's house, and the highlight was sledding down their long, steep driveway. We spent Christmas morning with my parents, Christmas evening with my Uncle Lee's family, and Boxing day with Dave's family. On Saturday I enjoyed getting together with high school friends for brunch, and then having a 10 hour date with Justin. We saw Australia (I loved it!) and had a dessert and Catan night with the Franklins and Boumas. Overall, it was a wonderful time to connect with friends and family.
