Justin and I had a meaningful weekend on Bowen Island at the Rivendell Retreat Centre. The setting was stunning - blue ocean, autumn colors, and green trees. I found a book in the Rivendell library that I felt like was written directly to me. It was called "When the Heart Waits" by Sue Monk Kidd, and the author shared how God had used a season of waiting and suffering to deepen her faith. God hugely encouraged and comforted me with this book - and reading it was honestly a life changing experience. I came home feeling much refreshed, and loving my sweet husband more than ever.
Clay loved hanging out with Nana Gwen and Grandpa Ron. We are blessed with family who gives us lots of help with Clay.
