Savoring the summer

I love summer in Vancouver. The weather has been around 80 most days and Vancouver has great stuff to do with kids. Clay loves the Maple Grove pool - this enormous heated pool that is mostly shallow enough for Clay to touch bottom. He loves his water wings and dolphin ring, and meeting up with his little buddies at the pool is an enjoyable summer outing.

Clay also loves the Granville Island sprinkler park, especially playing with the hose. And of course the beach is still one of Clay's favorite places, and he had a great time today helping Cora navigate the puddles and showing her the crabs. Yesterday Clay impressed me with his raspberry picking skills at our outing to a U-pick raspberry farm.
