Nana & Grandpa visit

Clay loves his grandparents, and it was very sweet to see them all connecting this weekend. As Clay's solemn face and rare cuddling in the photos show, he was feeling a little low energy this weekend. Highlights of the weekend were looking for worms with Grandpa, walks in the woods, looking for crabs at Wreck Beach, reading books with Nana, and watching kids waving palm branches at a new church we really like.

At church, Clay stays with us for the singing and then goes to Sunday school during the sermon. He loves the music. He seems like such a big boy to me now that he is in a regular sunday school class. I also attended the Thursday morning group for moms with young kids this week and I really enjoyed it. Day Light Saving has been a blessing because Clay's nap is now at 12 instead of 11 so I can actually do things in the morning without him having meltdowns. One of Clay's new things that cracks me up is saying lots of evaluative statements, "I like apples" or "I love worms" and "I really love crabbies."

I love reading about Clay, and a little about you Dana. You seem really happy. I love the last photo of your parents. mel
