Justin and I enjoyed our first major hike in two years to Garibaldi Lake while Nana and Grandpa hung out with Clay. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed 6+ hours of uninterupted conversation, though 12 miles of steep hiking left us sore. Have we mentioned that Clay talks constantly and having a normal conversation around him is now impossible? Below is a picture of Clay eating a grape that he scavanged off some other picnicers at Alice Lake on the way up to Whistler. Although this is 6 months behind his peers, Clay now loves to point at everything. The last picture captures one of the rare and precious moments when Clay let his mama snuggle with him.
